The best coding YouTube channels
There is no shortage of programming content on YouTube and that is exactly the problem. Every framework has a hundred tutorials, most of them recorded once against a version that has since changed twice, and the twelve-hour course that tops every search will teach you to follow along without teaching you to build anything alone.
The channels here were chosen for what happens after the video ends. Some are explanation channels that make a hard idea land in eight minutes; some build real projects and leave the mistakes in, which is the part every tutorial edits out; some are about the craft rather than the syntax. Why these made the list
The test was whether you could build something the channel did not show you. That favours the ones who explain why a decision was made over the ones who type fast and expect you to keep up, and it rules out the endless "build X in Y minutes" reruns. Channels whose entire catalogue is a funnel into a paid bootcamp were left out, however competent the free half was.
